Kyoto Black is a versatile coffee concentrate that can be used to make almost any coffee drink. I encourage you to experiment with all the different ways to enjoy it. Here are some simple recipes to get you started.
Hot Coffee
- 4oz Kyoto Black
- 8 oz Boiling Hot Water
Combine one part Kyoto Black with 2 parts boiling hot water and enjoy.
Kyoto Black Soda
- 4 oz Kyoto Black
- 8 oz Sparkling water
Add Kyoto Black to the sparkling water and sweeten if desired. *Optional* Use your favorite flavor of La Croix instead of sparkling water. My personal favorites are lime and coconut.
Teddy Graham Latte
- 4oz Kyoto Black
- 6 oz Cold Milk
- 1 oz Honey Simple Syrup
Combine Kyoto Black, milk and honey until evenly mixed. Dust with cinnamon and/or cocoa powder. *Optional* For a rich velvety latte, use a cocktail shaker or a French press to froth the drink before serving.
Honey Vanilla Simple Syrup
- 100 grams Clover Honey
- 60 grams Water
- 5 grams Vanilla Extract
Combine all the ingredients and stir until even. This recipe scales proportionately.
